Get IPTV UK on a MAG box

A MAG box has its player built in. It wants one portal address and an activation against its MAC, and after that it boots straight into the channel list.

Setup help costs nothing. Message us on WhatsApp and we walk through these steps together.

Send us the MAC

  1. 1.Turn the box over. The sticker shows a MAC address starting 00:1A:79.
  2. 2.Send it to us on WhatsApp with the word MAG.
  3. 3.We activate that MAC and reply with the portal address.

Enter the portal address

  1. 1.On the box, open Settings, then System Settings, then Servers, then Portals.
  2. 2.In Portal 1 URL, type the address we sent. Give it any name in Portal 1 name.
  3. 3.Press OK, back out, and choose Restart Portal.
One thing to know. Type the address exactly as sent, including http:// and any port number after the colon. One wrong character leaves the portal blank.

Set the clock

A wrong clock shifts the whole guide. In System Settings, open the time section, choose London as the time zone and set the time server to uk.pool.ntp.org. Restart the portal once more and the guide lines up.

Formuler boxes do the same through MYTV Online, in the Formuler guide, and BuzzTV has its own BuzzTV guide. The portal carries the same channel list as every app.
